Azim is a partner in Centil’s Kazakhstan office and co-heads the Business Advisory group. Azim has 25+ years' experience and had previously founded and managed two full-service legal practices in two jurisdictions.
His main areas of expertise are infrastructure and recourses, and recent experience includes advising a major hydropower company on a bridge financing transaction, restructuring of major gold mining project, listing of rare-earth exploration project, providing ongoing regulatory advice to a major telecom operator, and advising a leading Development bank on financial transactions with local institutions.
