Dinara has over 23 years of professional experience, among other, in major English and Kazakh-law governed international litigations and arbitrations, as well in Courts of Kazakhstan, and representing clients in major transaction and finance projects.

EXPERIENCE
- Advised major Kazakhstan’s and international banks on financing transactions in Kazakhstan and abroad, advised lenders and borrowers on cross-border loans, advised major securities firms on transactions related to organising the issue and sale of bonds of major Kazakhstan’s banks and financial institutions, as well as on aircraft financing projects
- Led cross-border loans for major international lenders and advised Kazakh borrowers in connection with their obtaining financing from lending institutions
- Acting as Kazakh counsel to major Chinese banks in negotiating sovereign guarantee, advising on Facility with Kazakhstan borrowers
- Acting as Kazakhstan legal counsel to Nomura Securities in connection with several private placement transactions of Eurobonds and Notes by Kazakh financial institutions
- Acting for a major financing institution in connection with placement of notes with Kazakhstan pension funds
- Represented leading Kazakhstan’s banks in international dispute resolution matters and acted for the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Central Bank of Kazakhstan, in connection with the management of gold and foreign exchange reserves
- Acted as sole arbitrator in a commercial dispute at Kazakhstan International Arbitrage
- Acted as Kazakhstan counsel to a Turkish claimant in Abu Dhabi Kazakh law-governed arbitration with UAE construction company
- Advised international investor in a high-profile dispute with Kazakh government pre-arbitration, leading to successful settlement
- Leading Kazakh lawyer on the team acting for Kazakhstan’s Government in ICSID and LCIA arbitrations. Arbitrations resolved or settled favourably for Kazakhstan’s Government, with two major arbitration awards of U.S. $1.5 billion arbitrations in favour of Kazakhstan’s Government
