Kyrgyz Republic | LSE offering

Centil Law Firm acted as local counsel to the dealers and joint lead managers in the successful establishment of a US$1.7 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) Programme by the Kyrgyz Republic and the debut issuance of sovereign Eurobonds on international capital markets, raising US$700 million with a coupon rate of 7.75% and a maturity of five years.

This historic transaction marks the first-ever Eurobond issuance by the Kyrgyz Republic and the first frontier sovereign debut from Central Asia in the past six years.

The team was led by Partner Zhanyl Abdrakhmanova and included Senior Associates Sultan Khalilov and Illarion Ten, Junior Associate Amantur Egemberdiev.
